Your Initial Naturopathic Consultation is when we get to know each other and begin to build a therapeutic relationship. We take a deep look into your medical history to uncover what has led to your current state of health and what may lie beneath your personal challenges to achieving your optimal health outcomes. Our aim is to discover the underlying issues so that we can address them and improve your health naturally.
You may be requested to complete a food and lifestyle journal, or to undertake blood tests in order to help me build a complete picture of your personal health journey prior to your next appointment.

At your Follow-up Naturopathic Consultation, we will discuss any test results and begin to formulate your personalised plan to enhance your health and achieve your goals. You will be presented with an individualised protocol incorporating diet and lifestyle management, and individually formulated herbal medicines and nutritional therapy as required.
I will be with you every step of the way to support you and offer advice and assistance to improve your health and fertility as together we work towards a healthy future for you.

Acute Naturopathic Consultations are for current clients who only need a short appointment to address an acute condition such as coughs and colds, prescription repeats or a quick check-in with Julie.

The Initial Fertility and Preconception Discovery Consultation is for people ready to undertake their journey towards a successful conception and healthy pregnancy. The health of your child begins with your own health prior to conception, so it is imperative that you begin planning ahead of time.
This consultation is also suitable for people struggling to fall pregnant as we will take a comprehensive look at your own medical history to uncover ways to enhance your fertility naturally and give you the child you long for.

The health of both the mother and the father is essential when it comes to ensuring a healthy conception and pregnancy.
In the Initial Fertility and Preconception Discovery Consultation for Couples, we will take a comprehensive look at the medical history and current state of health for both you and your partner, and working as a team, we will develop an individualised plan to ensure optimal health to promote healthy fertility in both of you.

Pathology & Testing
To make the most out of your appointment and get a comprehensive view of your wellbeing, it’s highly beneficial to have recent blood test results on hand. If you haven’t had a blood test within the past three months, I recommend completing the following general blood tests before your appointment and sharing the results ahead of time.

- FBC, eLFTs, Iron studies, TSH, T4, T3, Thyroid antibodies, Vitamin B12, Folate, Vitamin D, FSH, LH, Oestrogen, SHBG, DHEA, Testosterone, FAI, Insulin, Cortisol, Cholesterol Studies.
PLEASE COMPLETE IN A FASTING STATE, first thing in the morning and on day 2/3 of your cycle. If you don’t currently have a cycle, please complete on any day. Day 1 is the first day of your period (this does not include spotting).

- Have your bloods done fasting and first thing in the AM. If you are doing hormone bloods, please have them done on day 2/3 of your cycle. -
- FBC, eLFTs, Vitamin B12, Folate, Iron Studies, CRP, ESR, Testosterone, LH, Homocysteine, Insulin, Cholesterol Studies, TSH, Zinc – please have them tested in a fasting state and first thing in the morning. If you're seeing Julie for fertility related concerns, you can also get a sperm analysis completed (preferably through an IVF lab) but it is not essential
